The Design Philosophy
In the Serengeti Apartment project, the absence of a traditional color palette wasn't a limitation—it was an invitation to explore the power of texture. To meet the client's request for a "bush-inspired" monochromatic aesthetic, we leaned heavily into tactile variety. By pairing the raw warmth of natural timber with geometric textiles and botanical prints, we created a space that feels curated rather than clinical.
Engineering Bespoke Solutions
The Technical Edge
We designed and built a bespoke black-and-white server unit in our workshop to anchor the living space. On-site, we overcame textural plastering issues to ensure a seamless, high-end wallpaper installation—a lesson in technical problem-solving.
Intentional Color Play
The "Sarah" Touch
Reflecting our philosophy of being layered and intentional, the main bedroom features mustard scatter cushions. This represents the single, carefully curated allowance of color—a warm contrast to the dark botanical wallpaper and mirrored finishes.
